Calvary serves children in their most formative years, kindergarten through eighth grade. We believe that our Lutheran school offers an excellent opportunity not only for the student’s academic development but also the development of the student as a whole person on moral, spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical levels. Mt. Calvary Lutheran School provides an environment that fosters learning. Our school provides a warm and caring environment. In a small school such as Mt. Calvary, students receive more personal attention. Students at Mt. Calvary become part of an extended family, one where every student and teacher knows each other. At Mt. Calvary, teaching is a ministry as well as a profession. Our full-time teachers are fully certified in the state of Nebraska. In addition, the majority of our teachers have been Synodically trained at Lutheran Church –Missouri Synod colleges.
Choosing Mt. Calvary means parents have chosen to educate their children in the greatest way possible, integrating religious values into the total curriculum. The core curriculum includes reading, phonics, grammar, spelling, handwriting, literature, math, science, social studies and religion. Other programs offered include computer literacy, art, music, Spanish, physical education, speech, and drama. Mt. Calvary is an Approved School under the law of the State of Nebraska.
